每年的4月至5月份，也是贺州市姑婆山景区杜鹃花盛放的季节。“FromApriltoMay, rhododendrons bloom in Gupo Moun-tainScenicAreaofHezhouCity.”。目前，姑婆山景区内杜鹃花品种有映山红、变色杜鹃、云锦、百合杜鹃等。其中，映山红生长在海拔1000米山上，预计4月下旬开花，是杜鹃花家族中罕见的珍稀品种。“YING-SHANHONG, a rare precious rhododen-dron species, grows on the mountain with analtitude of 1000 meters and it is expected tobloominlateApril.”。如果体力不错，可以一路往上走，在姑婆山山顶，一个童话中的“花花世界”在等着你呢。听说，在大草坪的杜鹃园可以看到稀有的白杜鹃、云锦、高山杜鹃、映山红、杜鹃红山茶、杜鹃球、春鹃、西洋杜鹃、毛杜鹃等品种。

一名资深驴友告诉记者，广西有十大杜鹃花观赏胜地。除了以上两处，来宾金秀圣堂山的万亩连片变色杜鹃会在4月中旬同时开放，红、黄、紫、白……满山遍野，堪称广西最美的“高山花海”。“Aseniorbackpackertoldre-porters that there are ten famous rhododen-dron scenic spots in Guangxi.
