甘孜州地处川、滇、藏、青四省（区）六地交界处，是全国成立的第一个专区级民族自治州，是我国第二大藏区的重要组成部分。全州幅员面积15.3万平方公里，辖18个县，有藏、汉、回、彝等40多个民族，人口112万。

★甘孜州把加快发展摆在更加突出的位置，突出生态立州、产业强州、科教兴州、依法治州、和善安州，实行优先发展旅游业，有序发展生态能源业和优势矿产业，加快发展高原特色现代农牧业、特色民族文化产业和特色中藏药业的“一优先、二有序、三加快”的产业发展路子，使全州5年内在经济总量、固定资产投资、地方公共财政收入、城乡居民收入上实现“四个”翻番，在思想观念、基础设施、经济实力、人民生活、社会建设上实现“五个跨越”，全力推进美丽生态甘孜、和谐幸福甘孜建设。

文化资源底蕴深厚

悠久历史孕育丰富文化资源。德格印经院收藏有藏族文化典籍印版27.5万余块，文献总字数达3亿之巨，素有“藏族文化宝库”之誉；宗教文化十分丰富，全州格鲁、萨迦、宁玛、噶举、苯波五大教派齐兴并举；藏医药名医辈出，疗效确切，源远流长；可与丝绸之路媲美的“茶马互市”古道横贯全境；享有“宇宙歌曲”之誉的《康定情歌》和“东方伊利亚特”之称的《岭·格萨尔王史诗》构成了康巴文化最亮丽、最耀眼的闪光点。

生态地位日益重要

Increasinglyimportantecologicalrole

甘孜在维系长江流域乃至全国生态平衡中发挥着十分重要的作用，长江的重要干流金沙江及其支流雅砻江、大渡河纵贯全境，流域面积14.61万平方公里，占长江流域面积的8.5%；天然草场面积1.3亿亩，是全国五大牧区之一的川西北牧区的重要组成部分；森林面积7655万亩，占四川省的20%。

基础条件日趋完善

CompletingInfrastructure

康定机场建成通航、亚丁机场即将通航、甘孜机场规划建设，三大机场构建甘孜航空大通道；国道317、318线改造和雅康高速、雅康铁路为主的交通建设攻坚，将形成甘孜的“四纵四横多联三枢纽”陆地大动脉，高原特色城镇建设与骨干电网的全面建设正助推甘孜成为成都平原经济圈向西拓展的接力区和产业增长区。

自然资源得天独厚

——旅游资源。以稻城亚丁为核心的“香格里拉之魂”、贡嘎山为主的“香格里拉之巅”、中国最美村落为重点的“嘉绒文化”、德格印经院为中心的“藏文化中心”、泸定铁索桥为标志的“红色旅游”五大旅游带，共同构成了中国西部自然生态和康巴文化旅游终极目的地。

——能源资源。水能、太阳能、风能、地热能等清洁能源开发潜力巨大。水能资源理论蕴藏量超过5000万千瓦，技术可开发量达4130万千瓦；太阳能资源理论可利用量约5600万千瓦，经济可开发量约1120万千瓦；风能资源可开发量约1000万千瓦左右；地表出露的热泉249处。

-Energyresources.Thereishugedevelopmentpotentialofhy-dropower,solarenergy,windenergy,geothermalandothercleansourcesofenergy.Thewaterresourcesreservesaremorethan50millionkilowattswiththetechnicallydevelopedcapacityof41.3millionkilowatts;thetheoreti-callyavailablecapacitiesofsolarenergyresourcesareabout56millionkilo-wattswitheconomicdevelopmentcapacityofabout11.2millionkilowatts;thedevelopmentcapacityofwindenergyresourcesisabout10millionkilowatts;thereare249outcroppedhotsprings.

——矿产资源。有色金属和贵金属品种多、储量大。已初步探明超大型和大型矿床30余处，中型矿床40余处，小型矿床近百处，金、银等十余种金属储量居全省第一，锂辉石矿储量居亚洲第一。

-Mineralresources.Thereareawidevarietyandlargereserveofnon-ferrousmetalsandpreciousmetals.Ithasbeenpreliminaryproventhattherearemorethan30superlargeandlargedepositsandmorethan40medi-um-sizeddeposits;therearenearlyonehundredsmalldeposits.Thereservesofmorethan10kindsofmetalsuchasgoldandsilverrankfirstinSichuanandthespodumeneorereserveranksfirstinAsia.

——生物资源。甘孜州是世界上自然生态最完整、气候垂直带谱与动植物资源垂直分布最多的地区之一，也是我国重要的天然物种基因库。境内有大熊猫、金丝猴等30多种珍稀动物，有麝香、鹿茸、熊胆、虫草、贝母等上乘动植物药材，还有松茸、白菌、花椒、核桃、雪山大豆等特色绿色农副土特产品。
