位于金堂县淮口镇的中国环保装备（成都）制造基地距离成都市区30公里，被规划为成都市唯一的“工业战略前沿区”，总规划100平方公里，预计2016年建成规模达80平方公里，工业销售收入突破1000亿元。目前，已建成20平方公里，拥有成都—阿坝工业园区、四川金堂工业园区两个省级开发区。
